About the Committee

The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) of the Odisha Athletic Association is constituted as per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee provides a formal redressal mechanism for complaints of sexual harassment and other forms of misconduct.

The ICC operates independently of the Executive Committee and ensures confidentiality and impartiality in all proceedings. All athletes, coaches, officials, and support staff associated with OAA are covered under the ICC’s jurisdiction.

Prevention

Conduct awareness programmes and sensitisation workshops for all stakeholders.

Prohibition

Enforce zero-tolerance policy against any form of harassment or misconduct.

Redressal

Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints in a time-bound, fair manner.

Reporting

Submit annual reports to the Executive Committee and relevant authorities.

Filing a Complaint

Submit a written complaint to the Presiding Officer of the ICC within 3 months of the incident.

The ICC will acknowledge receipt within 7 working days.

Inquiry will be completed within 90 days of receipt of complaint.

Final report submitted to the Employer / Executive Committee within 10 days of completion of inquiry.
