Selection Committee

The Selection Committee of the Odisha Athletic Association is responsible for the fair and transparent selection of athletes representing Odisha at the National Athletics Championships, Federation Cup, Junior Nationals, and all other AFI-sanctioned competitions.

Selection is conducted as per the selection trials held at the State Athletics Championships. The committee evaluates performance, fitness, and eligibility before finalising team compositions.

Selection Policy

Selection based on merit at official State selection trials
Athletes must meet AFI minimum qualifying standards
Medical clearance mandatory for all selected athletes
Selection Committee decision is final and binding
Appeals may be filed within 48 hours to the Executive Committee

Filing a Complaint

Submit a written complaint to the Presiding Officer of the ICC within 3 months of the incident.

The ICC will acknowledge receipt within 7 working days.

Inquiry will be completed within 90 days of receipt of complaint.

Final report submitted to the Employer / Executive Committee within 10 days of completion of inquiry.
